New Song Alert: Tanker by Old Chingu and Tyler Parker

New song alert! Old Chingu and Tyler Parker are releasing 'Tanker'. It is an energetic song that touches on our daily lives and where we've been in the past couple of years. This is the start of our energetic comeback.

Why should I care?

Kinda rude, but I think it’s a great song. If you have ears, you’ll really enjoy this one.

Where is it best to listen?

In the car, while you’re working out, or going through something- Tanker will help you scream and get out what you need.

Where have y’all been?

Honestly, we both were grinding our independent music careers for 3 years nonstop. Through COVID, adjusting to so much change, and building a fanbase, but it was hard to make ends meet. Hustling with 2 jobs at the same time. It was tough to focus on music.

We both picked up different jobs in web3. Experimented a lot and I took the artist route and Tyler took the project manager route.

Learned a lot of valuable skills and built meaningful relationships. We definitely will be using what we’ve learned in this new season of music creation.

Are you making more music or is it just this?

Definitely! More! Music! We won’t leave y’all hanging, we chose to be consistent those past years and STILL have loyal fans. We want to do them justice and do the best work we can. Performing consistently, dropping music we love to make- not just trynna hit a trend. Creating for the sake of creating.

Before, it was “find ways to monetize our music”, but this time around it’s more “let’s create what’s true to us, and if any money is made- it’s a bonus”.

We’re not perfect, but we will try our best to revitalize our communities. We hope you enjoy the ride!!!
